Guiding Your Journey in Portland's Dynamic Real Estate Landscape

Meet the HouseLovePDX team
Your trusted guides in the Portland Metro real estate market
It began with two cousins who shared a burning passion for the Portland area, real estate and baking!
We share family values that include integrity, hard work, hospitality and a healthy dose of baking! We have a lifelong trust in each other and are a stronger team for it. We also have a LOT of fun. But beyond our family ties, our deep NW roots combined with our experience in real estate, legal contracts, mediation and negotiation, enables us to help our clients with any real estate decision or transition, no matter how complex.
We understand that it’s a privilege to help a client sell a beloved home and move on to the next chapter of life. We love seeing Portland, neighborhood by neighborhood, through the eyes of someone who is new to the area and full of excitement. And we adore the moment when a buyer walks into a house and we all know it’s the one: aka HouseLove!

Kari McGee | Managing Principal Broker
I have built my almost 20-year real estate career on a foundation of strenuous advocacy, education, and service. My most important goals are not of production or market share but rather of building trust and of service to your needs.
I see a successful real estate career as simply the likely outcome that comes from relentless observance of my duties as a fiduciary for you. Supporting you in meeting your real estate, and often life, goals with knowledge, skill, systems, compassion, and a good dose of humor is my jam! It’s how I show up for all of the people in my life: clients, colleagues, friends, my kids, my husband, and loved ones.
Even our adorable and perfect in every way dog Rouge, gets my advocacy and my fierce protection. Well, who are we kidding, especially our dog Rouge…
As you are considering, I also chose to be at Living Room Realty. The core values that are reflected in every aspect of Living Room’s work in the greater Portland area are what brought me to Living Room in 2011. The serious commitment LRR has made to the environmental and social requirements outlined in their B-Corp status, the Loving Room Fund set up by our agents who donate a portion of every commission to local non-profits, and our incredibly vibrant community is what has kept me here ever since.
Any leftover time finds me volunteering as a founding member of the Community Equity Council at Ida B Wells High School in SW Portland (go Guardians!), pulling gallons and gallons of rocks out of the soil of my garden (and you all complain about heavy clay!) to plant something wondrous, or just staring at my garden beds (as my family will say “FOR HOURS”) as I decide what needs to move where and when. Stormy days will find me chipping away at a goal of making the most perfect loaf of sourdough bread. It’s definitely to be continued…

Erika George | Broker-Esquire
Erika built her career—first as an attorney and now as a Realtor—on advocating fiercely for people and helping them feel grounded during life’s biggest transitions. After a childhood spent moving every couple of years, she developed a deep appreciation for belonging and stability, and that early experience shaped the way she now shows up for clients: with clarity, compassion, humor, and a steady sense of “you’re not doing this alone.”
Her pivot into real estate came in 2013, when she felt the pull to help people in a more personal way—and her cousin Kari (with her signature charm and persistence) welcomed her into the business. Together, they built HouseLovePDX into a team rooted in service, community, and a genuine love for helping Portlanders find their place. Erika’s sharp legal background gives her clients an edge, and her calm-under-pressure energy keeps everyone grounded, even when the market is doing Very Portland Things.
Living Room Realty was a natural fit for Erika. Its B-Corp values, community commitment, and the Loving Room Fund reflect the kind of work she believes in—real estate that’s human-first and locally invested.
When she’s off the clock, you’ll find Erika humming show tunes, diving into creative projects, or baking through a stormy Portland afternoon. And whether she’s helping a client, cheering on her people, or settling in at home with family, she brings the same wholehearted, Portland-rooted spirit to it all.

Amy Fawcett | Broker
Amy has always loved making spaces feel warm, welcoming, and uniquely personal—first through years of sewing custom home décor, and now as a real estate agent. She brings that same passion to helping people find a home that truly fits their life and everything they love.
A longtime Portlander, Amy lives in NE Portland where she raised two kids who attended co-op preschool and Portland Public Schools. Over the past 30 years, she’s called both NE and SW Portland home, running her sewing business across the metro area and learning the neighborhoods, quirks, and hidden gems along the way. Her 11 years in the insurance industry also give her a strong foundation in risk management—knowledge that proves invaluable when guiding clients through the buying or selling process.
Amy is thrilled to join the HouseLovePDX Team alongside Erika George and Kari McGee, two incredible women whose combined 30 years of real estate experience make them a powerhouse team. Together, they bring expertise, creativity, and genuine care to every client experience.
When she’s not helping clients find their perfect home, Amy enjoys live music (often discovering new tunes thanks to her teen daughter), and spending time outdoors—camping, hiking, kayaking, or tending her garden.
